Description Director, Global Engineering Hengstler-Dynapar – Power & Industrial Technologies (P&IT) Job Description The Director of Global Engineering leads the worldwide engineering organization responsible for new product development and sustaining engineering across the Power & Industrial Technologies portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Lead and develop a global, multi-site engineering team Drive new product development (NPD) from concept through launch Oversee sustaining engineering , including product improvements, cost reduction, and lifecycle management Align engineering priorities with business strategy, growth initiatives, and customer needs Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and Sales Improve product quality, cost, and time-to-market Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred) 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments Proven experience leading global engineering teams Strong background in both: New product development Sustaining / lifecycle engineering Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and structured development processes Strong business acumen and ability to connect engineering decisions to financial outcomes #LI-PW1
