Description

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position Make the world’s most advanced Strategic Systems even smarter ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (DPME) for the Common Process Infrastructure Team (CIPT) for the Strategic Weapon Control (SWC) Program in the Strategic Systems Business, you’ll lead a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of a General Purpose Computing (GPC) platform to integrate shipboard and tactical programs. We will be providing an incremental, innovative infrastructure and architecture to ensure an updated platform for our Navy customers is reliable, maintainable, and future leaning while maintaining high quality. You’ll ensure the Strategic Weapon System, which includes Navigation, Missile (Guidance, Reentry, etc.), Fire Control, Launcher, Instrumentation, and all other subsystems meets all new requirements, building off the current architecture to build and field the system through operational test and deployment.
