UI Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic UI Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our talented team of user interface engineers . The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving UI/UX development, leading teams , and delivering exceptional user experiences. In this role, to succeed, you must have a strong ability to foster a culture of constant collaboration, quality, and continuous learning with developers who staff a multitude of different product teams while ensuring alignment with roadmap deliverables. You will partner closely with other Engineering Managers to drive initiatives at the team level and define and implement a unified UI strategy that aligns with the Engineering vision, ensuring consistency and driving positive user experiences. This position reports to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities: Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship to a team of UI engineers, fostering growth and professional development within the UI skill community Champion the vision and execution of the Dragos Platform User Interface. Collaborate closely with Tech Leads and Product Managers to define and deliver an optimal user experience across several different product teams Foster a strong technical community by developing close relationships amongst Engineering Managers. Establish and drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies. Provide technical input/insight during software design, development, testing, and release. Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and balancing technical debt and innovation. Ensure support for fielded production deployments. Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: 7+ years of meaningful engineering management experience building, developing, and leading highly effective teams Prior experience as a UI engineer with strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and JavaScript libraries like React and Redux.
