UI/UX Designer

Job Description *Position is contingent upon contract award* SOSi is seeking a UI/UX Designer. The UI/UX Designer will provide user interface/user experience to design, research, and development plans in support of the Sponsor's applications. The Contractor shall leverage expertise in UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. Essential Job Duties - Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. - Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to inform design decisions. - Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for Sponsor's digital assets. - Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, and CTAs, to enhance user experience. - Create high-fidelity prototypes and testing designs to validate user experience. - Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and Sponsor's representatives to ensure design requirements are being met. - Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities. - Maintain a competitive edge by staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications - Active Top Secret clearance. - Demonstrated professional experience with the following tools, systems, services, and data types: - User research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience. - Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions. - Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts. - Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams. - Experience with design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and coherence across Sponsor’s digital assets. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations. - Familiarity with Sponsor’s existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with Sponsor’s overall visual identity. - Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identity new opportunities. - Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions.
