About the job
The IB is transforming how it does technology delivery through the implementation of a new operating model: the Technology Playbook. The Product Management department is accountable for the outcome of the IB’s portfolio of customer-facing technologies throughout their lifecycle. This role is responsible for a smaller portfolio of inter-related products with medium complexity or a single high-complexity product, ensuring strong business outcomes and customer value.
- Develop product strategy aligned to IB goals, objectives and KPIs
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on customer value and technical feasibility
- Track education technology trends, competitor activity and customer needs
- Collaborate with business owners and cross-functional teams on roadmap planning
- Translate product features into user stories, specifications and acceptance criteria
- Partner with engineering and design teams to support Agile delivery
- Drive customer-centric practices through feedback, usage data and journey insights
- Monitor product performance and respond to issues, risks and opportunities
- Seasoned product management experience, ideally within educational technology or mission-based organizations
- Experience collaborating with software developers, educators, designers and other stakeholders
- Understanding of the global K-12 education sector and educational technology landscape
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and technologies
- Strong data analysis and product performance evaluation skills
- Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
