ClassLink is the place for you.The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Product Management, Access Products provides executive leadership for the strategy, vision, and lifecycle management of ClassLink's Access product portfolio. This role defines long-term product direction, guides portfolio investments, and leverages customer research, product analytics, and AI-enabled insights to drive customer-centered innovation and data-informed decision-making. Partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, UX, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product Operations, and executive leadership, the AVP aligns product strategy with business objectives and technical capabilities while developing high-performing Product Management teams. Through strategic leadership and modern product management practices, this role accelerates product innovation, strengthens market differentiation, and delivers secure, scalable solutions that support ClassLink's long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & VisionDefine and lead the long-term strategy for LaunchPad & Product Research, ensuring product investments align with business objectives, educational outcomes, and customer needs.Champion a research-driven culture where customer insights, analytics, and evidence-based decision-making guide product strategy and innovation.Translate research findings, market intelligence, and product performance into strategic recommendations that shape portfolio direction and long-term investment decisions.Monitor industry trends in EdTech, SaaS, AI, and learning science to anticipate opportunities and guide future product strategy.Technical Domain Oversight (Product Management Excellence)Provide executive oversight for the LaunchPad & Product Research portfolio, ensuring product management practices, research methodologies, and analytics capabilities support high-quality product development.Provide executive oversight of product research practices, ensuring mixed-method research, analytics, and customer insights consistently inform product strategy and investment decisions.Lead cross-functional product planning and delivery, ensuring products are prioritized and developed based on customer insights, business value, and measurable outcomes.Define and monitor key performance indicators that measure product effectiveness, customer engagement, adoption, and educational outcomes.Ensure product management, research practices, data governance, privacy, accessibility, and ethical use of customer data meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.Operational Excellence & Continuous ImprovementEstablish scalable product management and research processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness while enabling flexibility where appropriate.Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and portfolio priorities to maximize organizational value and successful product delivery.Drive continuous improvement through operational metrics, customer insights, AI-enabled analysis, and ongoing refinement of product development practices.Evaluate and adopt emerging tools, technologies, and AI capabilities that improve research quality, product decision-making, and team productivity.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, QA, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure alignment across the product lifecycle.Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across departments to support successful execution of strategic product initiatives.Represent the LaunchPad & Product Research organization with executive leadership, customers, partners, and other external stakeholders.Influence organizational priorities by communicating research insights, product performance, customer needs, and portfolio strategy to business leaders.Talent Development & Organizational GrowthHire, coach, mentor, and develop Product Managers, Product Researchers, UX Researchers, and other product professionals supporting the LaunchPad portfolio.Foster a high-performing culture centered on collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and customer-centered product development.Develop leadership capabilities, succession plans, and organizational structures that enable the LaunchPad & Product Research organization to scale effectively.Champion modern product management, research excellence, and AI-enabled ways of working across the organization.This role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
