ClassLink is the place for you.The Associate Product Manager supports the planning, development, and delivery of customer-focused products while building foundational product management expertise. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, this role helps translate customer needs and business goals into well-defined product requirements, supports Agile delivery, and contributes to product discovery, backlog refinement, and feature prioritization. As part of an AI-first product organization, the Associate Product Manager leverages AI-powered tools to enhance research, analysis, documentation, and decision-making while developing strong product judgment. This role requires curiosity, analytical thinking, collaboration, and a passion for delivering high-quality products that improve customer outcomes.Product Strategy & VisionSupport Product Managers in defining product vision, roadmap priorities, and feature requirements by gathering information and documenting product decisions.Assist with backlog refinement by writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting prioritization activities.Analyze customer needs, business objectives, and product strategy to support informed product decisions while developing product management expertise. Accountability & ResultsSupport product discovery, requirements gathering, and Agile planning activities under the guidance of Product Managers.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demonstrations, and release activities to ensure successful delivery.Support feature validation through testing, pilot programs, and user feedback, documenting findings and recommending improvements that enhance product quality. Operational Excellence Gather and organize customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, and product usage dataUtilize AI-powered tools to summarize research findings, identify emerging trends, and support product analysis.Monitor product metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.Collaboration & CommunicationPartner with Engineering, Design, Quality Engineering, and Product teams to clarify requirements and support successful product delivery.Communicate product updates, documentation, research findings, and customer insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.Contribute to a collaborative product culture by sharing knowledge, asking thoughtful questions, and supporting continuous improvement across product teams.People Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead and support the Engineering Lead(s) assigned to the product area under the guidance of a Senior Product Manager, establishing clear priorities and fostering collaboration to support successful product delivery.Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance support that encourages professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement within the assigned engineering team.Build productive working relationships founded on trust, communication, and shared ownership while developing foundational people leadership skills.Participate in performance management, talent development, and leadership activities with guidance from senior Product Management leaders to strengthen management capabilities.Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team environment that encourages learning, innovation, and delivery excellence.This role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
