Position Summary We are seeking an IT Software Product Manager to lead the product vision and strategy for our fleet maintenance technician platform, which is part of the ‘Hub’. This is a critical role where you will be the ‘voice of our technicians,’ translating their real-world needs into a product roadmap that drives operational efficiency and user satisfaction. This role will be responsible for designing and optimizing the mechanic experience with the software. Reporting to our Software (Hub) Product Lead, you'll work closely with a focused development team and collaborate across the organization to continuously improve the tools our technicians depend on every day. The benefits of belonging – what’s in it for you? - Full benefits within 30 days - Hybrid work schedule - Medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability insurance - 401(k) program - Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time - Commitment to your safety through boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursement - Career and learning development with an extensive training program through our Amerit University - Employee referral program, up to $1,000 bonus - ASE certification program with fee reimbursement and bonus - Employee recognition platform that includes opportunities to redeem points for merchandise - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - 24/7 nurse triage line - Employee discounts on cell phone service and entertainment tickets - Employee resource groups (ERGs) that foster inclusion Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Conduct regular feedback sessions with vehicle technicians across the organization to identify pain points, gather feature requests, and understand workflow challenges. - Build strong relationships with technician leaders and supervisors to gather insights on team needs and operational priorities. - Document and prioritize user feedback into clear, comprehensive product requirements and build out a product roadmap. - Work with developers through the development lifecycle from 0 to 1 - Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that completed features meet user needs - Manage the rollout and communication of new features to technicians - Own training content and materials for new product features and capabilities - Support the rollout of updates to ensure technician adoption and minimize disruption - Monitor product usage metrics and gather ongoing feedback to identify improvement opportunities - Act as the primary support resource for escalated product questions or issues - Identify and champion quick wins that can be implemented to improve the technician experience - Travel to the various shops on a regular basis to work directly with technicians and to obtain feedback, observe technician interaction with the software, conduct time studies, etc. Key Competencies and Minimum Education - Qualifications - 3-5 years of product management experience - Proven experience translating user feedback into product requirements and specifications - Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps and prioritize competing initiatives - Strong collaboration skills with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders - Experience with the full product development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, launch, support) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Technical literacy (comfortable with web applications; deep technical knowledge not required) - Must be willing to travel approximately 25% to various shops in the US Core Competencies - User Advocacy - Strong commitment to understanding and representing technician needs - Communication - Ability to clearly articulate product vision, requirements, and updates to diverse audiences - Analytical Thinking - Can distill complex feedback into clear priorities and strategies - Collaboration - Works effectively with small development teams and across organizational silos - Ownership - Takes ownership of the product experience and its impact on technician productivity - Adaptability - Comfortable iterating quickly based on feedback and changing priorities Working Conditions #ITProduct #ITProductManager #SQL #ProductManager #Agile #Hybrid INDAR1
