Senior Associate Product Manager - Auto Originations

As a Senior Associate Product Manager in Auto Originations, you will be in a pivotal role responsible for transforming user challenges into innovative solutions through design thinking. This role requires deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data, design, and engineering, to thoroughly understand the scope and impact of the problems at hand. The Senior Associate Product Manager works closely with the Product Manager to streamline delivery processes and enhance efficiency. Job responsibilities Understand user problems, convert them into problem statements, and provide out-of-the-box solutions through design thinking. Work with data, design, and engineering teams to conduct appropriate discovery and understand the depth and breadth of the problem to be solved. Develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and deliver value to the business. Support the Product Manager to execute key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiency. Contribute to the end-to-end ownership of features from ideation through implementation, maintenance, and support. Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and participate in all agile events of the product group. Collaborate with other product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understand the technology roadmap for modernization. Prepare detailed test cases and expected results to perform both Functional and User Acceptance Testing. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Minimum 2 years in a digital product role. Experience operating in an Agile/Scrum environment, writing crisp user stories and managing a backlog. Solid data-driven mindset with experience interpreting data and resolving complex issues. Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new skills, technologies, and business concepts. Grit and determination to overcome obstacles and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Working knowledge of the automotive industry preferably in originations. Direct experience in banking or financial services, especially in FinTech. Familiarity with API integrations and technical architecture. Experience setting up feedback loops and leading discovery sessions.
