Software Engineer, Embedded Rust Gentherm is expanding its business portfolio beyond the traditional automotive sector and into new markets. To support this strategic growth, the Advanced Engineering department is looking for a ​Software Engineer (Embedded Rust)​. This engineer will be directly involved in development of the next generation software for our electronics products. This role is instrumental in integration of almost every Gentherm product together. This is a highly interdisciplinary project that requires the successful candidate to demonstrate aptitude in acquiring and assimilating domain knowledge from diverse scientific and engineering areas. The role will focus on supporting software development for the control of thermal and pneumatic comfort systems into products across diverse industries, including automotive seating, commercial trucks, two-wheelers, and medical applications.
