 Contingent Contract AwardONSITE-Mechanicsburg, PAAnticipated Start date 9/1/2026  Connected Logistics is seeking to hire a Software Developer to support a DLA client's full software development lifecycle; to provide in-depth knowledge of requirements development, system design, system performance, and software programming; and to design and manage the database and deployment software. The Software Developer Intermediate is responsible for resolving problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development of software user manuals. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development teamKey Responsibilities Software Development & ArchitectureDesign and develop complex software solutions using best practices and modern technologies. Ensure code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and adherence to development standards. Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technology strategies. Leadership & MentorshipProvide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior developers. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team. Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Agile Team CollaborationParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies. Work closely with Product Owners, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver value-driven features. Drive technical discussions and decision-making within the team. Performance & OptimizationIdentify bottlenecks and optimize application performance. Implement and advocate for secure coding practices. Ensure maintainability and scalability of software solutions.
