Software Engineer - Level 02 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Spring Boot, JavaScript, ReactJS, Apache Kafka, Apache Nifi, Docker/Docker Compose, Maven, SQL databases Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position. \n Required: - Must be a US Citizen. - Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years) - Candidate would be expected to be “On call” to support system operations. - Must have fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required. - Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. - Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. - Works individually or as part of a team. - Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. - Resolves software problem reports. - Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. - Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. - Experience software development tools such as Git, Kira, Confluence and other Atlassian Products - Experience with Linux Command Line - Experience with Java or similar programming language - Understanding of Container Technologies such as Docker - Understanding of web development and APIs - Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve - Ability to learn new software and technologies related to backend or frontend development - Experience with Spring Boot - Experience with JavaScript, ReactJS specifically - Experience with Apache Kafka - Experience with Apache Nifi - Understanding of Docker/Docker Compose - Experience with build tools, such as Maven - Experience with SQL databases These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with continuous integration frameworks such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. • Infrastructure Tools: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible. • Container Platforms: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. • Cloud Experience: Proficiency with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) \n $150,000 - $200,000 a year The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
