Director of Engineering

Position Title : Director of Engineering Location of Employment : 501 Brickell Key Drive, Suite 509, Miami FL, 33131 (Miami Dade County) Position Duties Summary : - Supervise engineering team, participate in hiring decisions, assign work, and support employee development. - Plan and oversee software development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical requirements for our social media/influencer marketing and AI platforms. - Review software architecture, oversee the development of software applications, and monitor project quality and performance. - Coordinate the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software systems. - *Employer will permit remote work and/or telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Position Requirements : - *Employer will permit remote work and/or telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. - Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. - Must have at least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering or software development including: - Experience designing software architecture and cloud-based applications, APIs, and distributed systems that process large-scale, high-volume data. - Experience developing AI or machine learning solutions for content analysis, recommendation systems, media processing, or digital platforms. - Experience with image or video processing systems, data pipelines, or other large-scale data processing applications. - Experience leading cross-functional software engineering teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies to manage software development projects, coordinate product releases, and deliver enterprise software applications. Salary : $180,000-$220,000/year. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
