Senior Project Engineering Manager - Substation/Grid

Job Summary Due to continued growth, Black & Veatch are looking to add an Engineering Manager with an electrical background, design and engineering experience to our EMEA team. The role will primarily involve coordinating and managing projects related to Grid, Substation, and the Balance of Plant for BESS projects, across Medium and High Voltage projects. The Opportunity As the Senior Project Engineering Manager you’ll manage execution of the engineering components of multiple projects throughout the EMEA region, focused on Grid, Substation and BESS projects of varying size and complexity. You will have the opportunity to: - Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on projects. - Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities. - Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management in support of proposals and projects. This role is based in our Glasgow (preferred) or London, UK office with some travel to project sites, client or other B&V offices. We work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office/on site, 2 days remote working from home per week. #LI-JF1
