Mid-level Software Engineer - .NET (C#) and React/JavaScript

<p><strong>The Role: </strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to join our distributed engineering team. You'll work on full-stack development, building and maintaining features using .NET (C#) on the backend and React/JavaScript on the frontend. This role emphasizes review, validation, and ownership of code—including code produced with AI assistance—and collaboration with a talented distributed team.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Build and maintain features across our full-stack architecture (.NET backend, React frontend)</p></li><li><p>Review, validate, and take ownership of code produced with AI assistance and tools</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues; contribute to incident response</p></li><li><p>Write tests and ensure code quality; participate in peer code reviews</p></li><li><p>Communicate clearly with the team on technical decisions and trade-offs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Foundation:</strong></p><ul><li><p>4–6 years of full-stack development experience</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of C# and .NET Core fundamentals (dependency injection, middleware, async/await)</p></li><li><p>Comfortable with React, JavaScript, and modern front-end patterns</p></li><li><p>Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and version control (Git)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with production systems, monitoring, and debugging tools</p></li><li><p>Required Technologies: Microsoft .NET, C#, React, JavaScript, AI-Assisted Coding Workflows (Software Engineering)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English (English - Advanced)</p></li><li><p>Comfortable learning and applying new tools and techniques</p></li><li><p>Collaborative mindset; enjoy peer feedback and code reviews</p></li><li><p>Proactive approach to problem-solving</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with Azure or cloud platforms</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Docker or containerization</p></li><li><p>Experience integrating with external APIs or third-party services</p></li><li><p>Understanding of CI/CD pipelines</p></li></ul>
