Software Engineer (Telework Available)

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD on a priority contract. The position will support the development, testing, and quality assurance of backend software systems in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Java, C++, or Python, Git, SQL/PostgreSQL, AWS, and uses tools like Jira and Confluence to collaborate and produce technical documentation. Hybrid TELEWORK position, up to 16 hours per week. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity - Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components - Experience generating technical documentation - Experience working in an Agile development environment - Experience with Amazon Web Services - Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence - Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software - Experience with the following technologies: Git, J ava, C++, or Python, Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), SQL - Salary range for this position: $144,000 - 147,000 #CJ The Red Arch Solutions pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
