Software Engineer - Full Stack (Top Secret Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a geospatial intelligence data management program supporting national security missions. This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance. In this role you will be embedded within an Agile Scrum development team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and operational support of cutting-edge geospatial analysis and production software applications. You will help engineer solutions that distribute intelligence data to decision-makers across a large-scale enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities across the full development lifecycle, including designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software. Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools to produce quality software solutions. Verify software requirements, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile program documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques. Support Scrum team activities including requirements verification and tracking using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Required Skills/Experience: - Java software development - TypeScript and/or Angular front-end development - Software requirements verification and Scrum processes using tools such as Jira and Confluence Preferred Skills/Experience: - Kubernetes and Docker container technologies - Continuous Integration and Deployment tools including Git, Jenkins, and Puppet - Agile software development methodologies and SAFe processes - JEE and/or Spring framework development - RESTful and/or SOAP web services - JSON and XML data formats - AI prompting techniques applied to software engineering workflows Qualifications: - Active Top Secret security clearance required; position is located at a facility that requires special access - US Citizenship required North Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
